Because as a home builder Gaddes believes everyone should live in a healthy home, Michigan Valley Homes offers home inspections.
MVH Stamp of Approval

For a fee starting at $350 Gaddes will inspect a home for buyers, sellers, insurance companies, realtors, etc.

Mr. Gaddes will either inspect or service your home. He will not do both, as there can be a potential conflict of interest.
This 27 page report includes: 
  • Site and community- traffic noise, airplane noise, neighborhood complaints, etc.
  • Land conditions- shared drives, evidence of varmints, grade conditions, etc.
  • Foundation- cracks or movement, water infiltration, drain system, etc.
  • Framing- deterioration, beam movement, leaks, termites, etc.
  • Insulation- type, inches, additional
  • Fireplace and chimneys- damper operation, cracking or movement, etc.
  • Roof- type, evidence of patching, curling, invasive trees, etc.
  • Electrical System- ampage, type of wiring, proper operation, etc.
  • Plumbing System- type, sufficient pressure, leaks, air chambers, venting, etc.
  • Heating System- type, thermostat function, proper heat ducts, etc.
  • Bathrooms- condition, water damage, mildew, water pressure, etc.
  • Kitchen- counter space, cabinet space, range hood evaluation, etc.
  • Windows- type, glass, condition of glazing, deterioration, air infiltration, etc.
  • Interior Finish- wall and ceiling surfaces, floor surfaces, doors, trim, etc.
